Default Still "Can't Find Controller"

It's not an error anymore with the Third Party software, but still says can't find controller for the Airbag.

I contacted my distributor, he said try changing the baud rate? i don't really know what that means

Default Here ya go... But there are NO known baudrate issues with airbag control modules.

Would it be a good idea to look at changing the KW2 Delay, TST Address or CAN Timeout? After reading it looks like one of those could be the problem, but I don't know too much about this stuff. What else could be stopping it from finding the Airbag controller? Thanks for the help by the way

Default No, but you may start with telling us which car you talk about.

You also said "it's not a 3rd party hardware error anymore, how do you know? Did you double check with "real" hardware?!

Default Re: No, but you may start with telling us which car you talk about.

It's a 01 A4 1.8, with 409.1 software there would be an error message when i tried to scan the airbags, now after i was told to try 311.2 it's not an error message when i scan the airbags. it says 'can't find controller try again' where it would want me to shut the car off because of the error with 409.1.

during the auto-scan it goes through all of the other controllers just fine, why would it be having trouble only with the airbags, of course the one code i need to clear?

Default Since you are running an AutoScan, when did you register with Ross-Tech?

Email me with your contact information.
