Default Falken 912 Follow up.. Positive response from Discount Tire.

Hello Paul :

I'm sorry that you are not happy with the performance of the Falken 912's . As a Falken dealer , we want you to be
happy with your purchase. If you wish to re-purchase the 512's , I will offer you a full refund on the 912's .It must
be within 30 days . You would have to pay the shipping back to us , but I will give you your money back on the 912's .
If you wish to do this , let me know and I will give you the return address and authoriztion number.

I replied with thanks and asked to wait a few days perhaps I'll hear directly from Falken. With $45.00 in shipping and $100.00 for Road Force Balance, perhaps Falken will also contribute.

More to come.

Wow, impressive. Nice to see some companies still give a damn about service

Default Let me how your response from Falken goes...

...I ended up having a local shop special order these for me to keep the business in the neighborhood so I'm not sure I have much recourse with them.

Paulroad - You mentioned that the 912's aren't mud and snow rated but I just saw a "M+S" logo on the side. Mud and snow, no?

Default M+S....I went just now to the Falken Website

the 512 saus Mud and Snow, the 912 does not. This would make sense given that most us us think they are awful in the snow.

Default My 912s have M+S on the sidewall...

...I thought that stood for mud and snow. Am I mistaken?

Default you are right...the Falken Site may be wrong...

I'll look at mine this evening.

Then again, perhaps they were made by Murray and Seymour.

Default Interesting. I just saw this thread (and your original)

I say interesting because just last week I was up in Tahoe and had a near miss when I almost skidded into an intersection. Also got stuck in the driveway. Didn't think much about it until I saw these two threads.

Just ordered some Eagle F1 all seasons this morning to replace the Falkens.... Don't know what I will do with the Falkens now though. Only a couple thousand miles on them.
