Please Help. Another new struggle.New brake Bomb instal and brakes hard as a rock!!!!
Hi there.
I finally bought a new Brake Bomb ( From Febi Bilstein) and the mechanic just called me saying that the brake pedal is hard as a rock and the brake pressure lights keeps coming on the IP.
How can this be? Is there any particular way to install the bomb? Anything that these guys should know and aren't doing right?
For what I have talked to them over the phone, they have just plug the lines that went in the old one to the new one, purged the circuit with steering going all the way to one way, and then to the other, but pedal still hard with no braking power ( they went test driving).
I have searched but I haven't found any specific procedure for the install?
Any thoughts? Ideas?

First thought is NOS brake pressure accumulators are subject to the same migration of their nitrogen supply through the internal membrane that makes used "bombs" fail. If it's been sitting on a shelf for years, it's probably as bad as the one you took off.
I think David Kase still is recharging the accumulators. Contact him: https://sites.google.com/site/audicqturbo/audibomb
