each door switch is working correctly except one rear door, all locks are fine. i did not pay much attention to readings when it goes crazy, i don't remember what Vag showing anything and even with all door wiring unplugged at the door jams same result on dash, I even went as far back as the plugs further down the harness at the kick panels. with them all unplugged the lights come on and off on their own.

I assumed it was in the wiring in the drivers side floor, But found nothing. I did swap out a good module with the same result. Also as I mentioned at the top of this post, when you hit the brakes it goes on and off which is what first lead me to believe it is probably a bad ground crimp under the carpet but they all looked good and clean, no signs of corrosion on the 5 that I found. I can't imagine any other way the brakes could tie into this except the grounds???

How is old is your battery? Sometimes when the battery is dying a "funny" death, it can wreak all sorts of havoc on the electrical system.
At this point, i don't know what to suggest, other than to take it to a shop that can diagnose this.
You can still do some diagnosis by hooking up VCDS and performing output tests on every door lock to see what is being reported.
Could even be the sun visor shorting out.
