SQ5 - Winter Beast Mode

Completely agree (once it's gets to <50 degrees consistently). As laakness mentioned, it's been unseasonably cold recently. I don't mind my winter wheels (same), but would also prefer not to increase the wear rate on my winters if the temp does come back for the next month/month and a half.
Last couple of times I swapped over around the 1st of Nov I cussed myself for following weeks with the beautiful weather.

Temperature is actually a better indicator to swap your tires; not when the white stuff falls. Once average high temps consistently fall below 50 degrees you should put on your winter wheels because the rubber on all-seasons don't perform well below that temp.
EDIT: Looking at the 10-day weather forecast for Madison, it looks like this weekend would be the optimal time to do the swap! Luckily in MA I have some more time. I usually do the swap during Thanksgiving weekend if I'm not traveling.
