I was able to find a picture of the fuel line without the intake getting in the way. This is not my car. I am using an image found on line. I apologize if this is someones car and I thank you for the image.

I agree that this is serious and not something to mess around with but I wouldn't go run and cancel your order yet.

Agreed on this. If it is serious, they will address, possibly even before your car is completed and shipped.

I hope so. As I said, I know there will always be issues here and there and I am quite accepting of that, but something potentially deadly is a different matter. It just puts a bit of a damper on my enthusiasm when I just ordered the car.

Is there anything we can do to make sure audi's addressing this? I just tried chatting with AoA and she said they wouldn't talk about it through chat --and to call them to discuss it:

Please wait. An Audi Product Specialist will be with you shortly.
Amanda G. says:
Hello steve . My name is Amanda G. how can I help you?
steve says:
I'm a bit concerned about a problem I've been reading about with the fuel line in 2013 s6's and wanted to make sure that it's being addressed? There are 6 reports of different owners with the problem: https://www.audiworld.com/forums/sho...2854131&page=2
steve says:
fuel line will leak, and or burst near the intake of the engine.
steve says:
I JUST purchased my 2013 s6 - so, hopefully someone knows about it at AoA?
Amanda G. says:
Thank you for contacting us. I do apologize if you are experiecing any concerns with your 2013 S6 in relation to the fuel line. Due to the nature of your inquiry, we would not be able to address through chat, and it will need to be addressed over the phone. Please call 877 615 2834 for further assistance.
steve says:
Can you pass my concern along --with my contact information and have someone get back to me about it?
Amanda G. says:
It would be best to call us directly. We are open now 8am-11pm Monday-Sunday.
steve says:
Understood--but rather than holding, and reaching someone that isn't familiar with it, I'd like someone to research it and have some answers for it by the time someone returns my call.
she terminated the chat when I sent my last reply, which was nice of her...

When I was on the phone with AOA regarding my fuel leak, they transferred me to another division vs the regular customer service. I was told that my case had been upgraded to a higher priority, whatever that means. But when I call the regular number and give my claim number they transfer me right away.
I would call them directly if I were you.

to be clear-- i dont have a leak, i just want to ensure that I dont get one at they're taking this seriously and looking at issuing a TSB/campaign.
