Default S6 LED Strips - ALL DONE!!! Need help with dash lamp!!!

Hey guys!!

Finally got everything installed and I'm really happy with the turnout. Only problem is I get the "bulb out" lite on the dash when I turn the fogs on. Is there some type of way (besides rewiring to the side markers) that I can get rid of this? I would like to keep them wired to the fogs so they stay on for 30 seconds when I cut the car off. =)

I'm guessing that the fog light circuit is expecting a greater load which the fog light's original incandescent bulbs provided. The absolute easiest thing to do is to connect and bury/hide/mask incandescent bulbs to the LED circuit. You should quickly connect a bulb or bulbs to confirm if my guess is correct before spending time wiring stuff in.

Default Resistor could help..... any more advice???

What power resistor should I get? I tried researching this stuff but I have no idea! Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Try it with the original light bulb first. If one will make the fault go away, use a 4.2? 5 watt resistor. If two bulbs are required, use a 2.2? ten watt resistor. Trust me, a hidden light bulb or bulbs are an easier method to take care of this.

Did you try the light bulbs yet as I suggested earlier? The reason I ask is that I'm not sure did you wire the LED's in place of the fog lights or are they connected to the parking light circuit?

Default Lights are connected directly to the foglight

The "blown bulb" only comes up when I turn on the S6 LED (foglight position).

Im thinking about hooking them up to the parking lights AND the foglights. I won't turn the fogs on ever... but this way, I'll still have that "coming home" feature where the fogs are on when you cut the car off. I'll keep you posted.

Default Looks much better in person

I wish the color of the strips turned out better on camera... they are the exact same color as the stock headlights (HID). The lights look incredible.

Just need a power resistor equal to the resistance of the old bulb in parallel with it.
