I've an 02 b6 and 2 years ago, I changed the wiper blades to those I got from ecstuning. They are way better than the oem and also easy to find in any autoshop. The problem is that whenever i use them, I got loud rubbing noise against the windshield. I tried to upload a video but I couldn't and i don't know why. So any solution for that?

Its the angle of the wiper arm preventing the blade changing direction when reversing its sweep.
The blade needs to be at almost exactly 90° to the glass.
On the up sweep, the blade gets angled backwards, getting dragged behind the blade.
When the sweep reverses, the blade needs to as well. If it doesnt reverse to get dragged backwards again and instead gets pushed back down the screen, it will judder.

It can be adjusted by rotating the wiper arm itself in a radius about the windscreen.
The image below shows what I'm on about, though you dont need the special tool (Audi always has a special tool!). An adustable wrench (we call them shifters) clamped over the flat part of the wiper arm (#2 on the diagram) will do the same job.
Only very small inputs are required as you only need to rotate the arm a small amount to achieve the desired result.


It should be resonably self explanitory, but if the wiper blade is juddering down the screen, the arm needs to be rotated clockwise. And vise-versa if it judders up the screen...

It doesn't take much to make them judder though. I just had to adjust my B5's slightly just by changing over to aero arms. Wiped smooth on old assemblies and juddered on new ones - 2 minutes with the shifter as above and wipes smooth as!
...No snow here either
