You are on the very first version. Please scan through the forums as there are numerous posts on this very issue. Long story short you will gain AMI (audi music interface) compatibility, bluetooth functionality gains, and removal of the "accept to use" mmi nav screen. It is worth updating from your version. Personally since your new, take it to the dealer and have them do it for you as it isn't something you want to mess with if your not familiar with the systems.

To see if you have bluetooth, 1. make sure you don't have onstar (look up!), and search on your phone for bluetooth devices should come up with Audi uhv.. something.

Good luck, scan the forums there is a wealth of information here.

I do have onstar, so I guess no bluetooth.

I'll check out the dealer too see how much they are going to charge to upgrade. Otherwise I may try it myself. After reading about the process it does not seem too difficult.

Well the dealership wants to charge 2 hours labor to do the upgrade, seems a bit excessive to me. I'll continue to do more research and then attempt it myself.
