I had a 2003 3.0 CVT cab from new in 2003 to 2010. I had the car serviced every year at the dealer, and had the CVT fluid changed every three years (following a CVT replacement one month and 1000 miles after my initial purchase). The top seal between fabric and rear window failed in 2010, and I had the dealer bring in a convertible specialist to reseal it (saving around $1800 under the cost of replacing the top). I needed a new ABS unit around 2008, using a rebuild kit Audi had recently introduced (saving me around $500 they'd previously charged for replacing the entire ABS unit). I also had the coil packs changed per a recall around 2007. Good luck with your car.

Thank you Brian, may I ask how many miles did you have on your a4 cab?

This was strictly a pleasure car. It had around 24K miles when I traded it in on a new 2011 A4 sedan.
