I thought I was due for another set of control arms at 142k miles. While changing my oil, I noticed a leak from driver side engine mount, and upon further inspection, saw the APR snub mount also had separated. KMD Tuning talked me into a pair of RS4 mounts and OEM snub mount. What a difference, rides like new. What I thought was a loose suspension was a bouncing engine.

So if ride is getting rough, before you throw in another set of control arms, check for leaky engine mounts. Looks like a purplish oil with a slimy feel.

Mine are def worn to ****. I've been slacking cause parts and labor are about 400 bucks.

Good luck getting it done for $400. Each mount was $120 and you have to raise engine and move stuff around to get the darn things out.
