Default Here's what Steve Baron is forecasting...

Utah Weather; Let the hype begin...
...just off the air after the 9pm show, with a little stoke for the fire...

This week looks insane

Good storm for the mountains Monday night/Tuesday: 15"
Another one Tuesday Night/Wednesday: 10"

And a monster lurks for Thursday into the weekend, that one is really interesting and if it holds together, it's going to be huge...like interlodge/road closure/too much snow to deal with huge...like Stump won't be able to complain we didn't get a "real" storm this winter huge...like Phunk-will-ski-powder huge...I could go on, but after zipping around DV all morning with some family from NYC, I need to get some sleep. Slaloming around people in fur coats takes more energy than I remember...

(oh yeah, we're in this pattern for 10 days or so...)<ul><li><a href="http://tetongravity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48228">click!</a></li></ul>

Default Updated forecast...from SB

Still looks like a solid 12" for the Wasatch in a short time-frame on Thursday as the cold front moves through - the thing is, under a moist, cold NW flow, it's not going to stop snowing until like Tuesday.

In other words, the heaviest snow totals will come in a very short time frame tomorrow, then pretty much constant light to moderate snow will fall for the next few days, with periods of heavy snow mixed in.

Figure something like:

3" overnight
10" tomorrow
5" tomorrow night
6" friday

...to start things off, which is a solid two feet of snow, and that pattern sticks around all weekend. So, if you like storm skiing, this is it. It will be colder than normal throughout the next few days as well. Hope that helps!

Mild? Alta, Bird, Soli and Brighton are all over 500" this season.
