Default OEM plugs are the excellent tri-electrode NGK BKUR6ET-10

Get them from a VW dealer for about $7 per plug. An Audi dealer will charge more.

VW part number: 101 000 033 AA

Default Beru silverstone

I broke 2 of my denso iridium when I wanted to set the gap and just realized that they are preset from the factory.

They are awesome spark plugs, but they are so expensive. I don't want just to replace 2 ($22) of them that are broken, thus I have to spend another $66 for the whole set.

So, I went to another route using beru silverstone. 2 reasons I change to beru silverstone: 1. they are cheaper 2. I want to try new things. They are also good, but not as good as denso iridium.

Actually spark plugs don't make much difference in your car performance. I also tried AC delco, and they are good too.

The difference in your spark plug is when you have upgrade (turbo, supercharger, nitrous). I have nitrous setup in my car and I noticed Denso iridium has less misfires than beru silverstone.

AC delco can't be used for nitrous, since they are "hot" plugs.

AC delco rapidfire 9 (U.S) $3.99/piece
beru silverstone (germany) $7/piece
Denso iridium (japan) $11/piece

hope this helps.

Default Have you tried Beru Ultra-X UFX5.6?

They are four-prong plugs that cover two heat ranges at the same time (5 and 6).

I'll try those next. Already got them.

The Beru part number is 0 002 345 601.

Default I can't wait to try them!

I'm running the NGKs right now, because I want to see if I'm back to normal looking plugs after that disaster with the Bosch +4 plats.
