Can a North American Q7 with nav run a european nav disc?
We will be traveling through parts of Europe in a U.S. spec Q7 and were wondering if I could run a euro nav disc so that we could utilize the nav system while traveling around. I searched and found where it seems it is difficult to do with an RNS-E unit but what about the newer MMI?

Should be no problem. Hardware is the same and I expect underlying navigation software too. Simply need to buy the 2006 disc from a dealer and make sure you try before you pay (The culture on returns is VERY differnt to the US in some European countries).
If problems, let me know and I will try making a copy of mine - I suspect it will not work but you never know.

I would call/Email Audi USA
I read somewhere that Nav units in USA are not the same, but I maybe wrong. Call Audi USA customer service or email them
