Default Check Engine Light

Hi there,

I have a 2008 A4 2.0T. I'm at about 80k miles and my check engine light has come on. I'm in Aurora, Colorado. I was wondering if anyone close to me has a vagcom that I could use to figure out what's wrong. I have kept up with all the maintenance regularly. I was told by the dealership that I have 20k more miles before I have to change my timing belt and tensioner..so I'm really not sure what's wrong with it. Does anyone have any suggestions on what could possibly be wrong?

Thanks

Jen

It literally could be anything. Hopefully you find someone with a VAG COM in your area.

Jen, welcome aboard! There are several VCDS locator tools. I think this one is the freshest:

http://www.maptive.com/ver3/VCDS_Locator

I saw 2 or 3 listed in Aurora.
