The car started running rough, barely idling. It has basically been sitting for a year while I procrastinated fixing things. I am getting the following codes, looks to me like it is a wiring issue somewhere, can anyone point me in the right direction?

Eeek! How's your battery? First though (hopeful thought) is the low battery always sets codes in these cars...

I don't think so. Battery is 1 to 2 years old. Charged recently while doing ebrake stuff too.

OK, fuse 5 (engine management) was blown. I replaced it while the car was running and it smoothed right out. I then cleared the codes and I am still left with the following. It also blew the fuse again after I shut it down and restarted.

Is the pressure regulator valve the same as high pressure fuel pumps? Would both go at once or should I be looking for a short/frayed wire? Would the failure of the pumps cause the fuse to blow?

Does anyone know how to test the High Pressure Fuel Pumps to confirm they are bad?

It seems like the bank 1 pump is blowing the fuse.

Not really got any advice. You’ve got a boatload of errors, so don’t really know where to start from an armchair diagnostics perspective. It needs hands, eyes, and ears on it at this stage. Just keep plugging away and when you’re down to some more specific errors and symptoms, that’s where we’ll be able to help more.

Well, in case anyone runs into this problem it was the Bank 1 - passengers side USA HPFP high pressure fuel pump. Cam follower was in good shape. Rock Auto was the cheapest
