I've got a 90 CQ. It runs terrible. Will barely idle when it's cold. After it warms up seems to run better with maf unplugged. When I got it the coolant sensor was unplugged. In thinking ill smoke test it. Wondering if anyone else has had a poor running CQ and what you've done to make it well?

Or, just guessing:
Is your cat still good?
Do you have dark smoke coming out of your exhaust?

No smoke at all. When I first fire it on a cold morning it will die if I don't give it gas. As far as injectors go is the 034 upgrade worth the money?

As long as your cat & O2 sensors are good,
otherwise mine ran too rich.

Long story, but I got the car with a "non-functional" cat.

Yes but you should be able to find a used set for less money. Or in this case new!
