A sad loss indeed.
I never had the chance to meet Matt, but was hoping to at Quattrofest. From all the forum talk I was almost convinced to buy another S4, Nogaro even. My condolences to his family and friends.

I'd think that there should be an annual AW award named after Matt
Matt provided the best, straight forward information and truly cared about others from all walks of life. He helped so many people and treated friends and strangers equally.
Since AW ranks the number of posts made by members, we could vote for the member that provided the best information to those in the forum.
The Matthew Ammon (O.W. Kenobi) Award would represent the highest level of achievement attainable in the forum. I know our company would look to adding to any prize fund if AW establishes such an award.

You should suggest this in the Feedback forum
Matt also provided some of the wittiest (is that a word?) and funniest comebacks on AW. We could also have an O.W. Kenobi Wittiest Comeback award for the post that made the most people laugh.
Even if there's no such award, that's how I will remember Matt... for his wit, his sense of humor, and his ability to make everyone laugh.
