Default New to me A3
I picked up an '06 A3 and have a few questions. Mine was apparently ordered with no options. Is the wiring in place to upgrade the stereo head unit or other options? Also, I am missing the air intake box and engine cover etc. which were replaced by a K&N intake. Is there any way to know if other mods. eg. a chip has been done? I have VAG COM for pre '06 cars but not yet for this '06. Also, will VW dealers perform warranty work on the engine?

What warranty work you expect on 8 yr old car?

I've read on here that the timing chain that runs the fuel pump or some such has gotten an extended warrantee up to 120k miles. My car has 103k.
