Best bike / ski roof rack
Looking for a versatile roof rack for my '13 S6 that can accommodate my road bike in the summer and skis in the winter.
Want it to look as sleek as possible and super easy / intuitive to use.
Any suggestions? Pics are welcomed.

This thread has pictures of the only roof rack that I have seen on a USA C7.

I had a Whispbar on my A4, which I rather liked -- low profile, attached relatively easily and quickly, and looked pretty slick. Quiet on the highway. Only downsides, and I suspect this is the case with most racks, is that dirt tended to get trapped under the rubber foot, and it scratched the roof, no matter how clean I kept the feet. My solution was to put a layer of duct tape onto the roof after cleaning.
Nice low profile, so even with a box on top, I could get the car into underground parking garages.
Unfortunately, the rack I bought for my A4 isn't wide enough for the A6, so I'm back in the market for another one. I may get another Whispbar, but one that will adjust wider and narrower so it will fit a different car. Thule also makes an Aerobar which is quite nice.
I personally don't like the Audi rack as it's too high, and makes getting into underground garages an issue.

I use a Thule rack for my road and mtn bikes. It think its a great system. I can put it on or take it off in less than 10 minutes and it has never scratched my C7. Plus it looks dang sexy on the car imho.

Is there any difference between the Audi base cross bars and the Thule Aeroblade kit?

Biggest difference is price
Although it is difficult to tell from the pics on the 2 sites noted I cannot see any really big difference in the appearance of the 2 accessories. I do know that my bars (which are still new in the original box) are about $250 less.
