question about pig tails
Hi,
i don't know how i can remove the pig tails from the head light switch connector.
i found out so far that you have to lift this little plastic stopper but the pig
tail won't come off.
Need help
Thanks

Get the special tool that releases the tab...the pigtails come out the back of the connector.
I think ECS has the tool.
I bought a couple connectors før the ignition coils on my 2K4.2...the connectors wouldn't fit the terminal posts on my engine wiring harness although the connector per se was fine once I cut and soldered and shrink wrapped/insulated the new connectors in place.
Why do you want to remove the pigtails from the headlight switch connector anyway?

Sweet tools..found them on Assenmacher. But steep $$. Here are alternatives:
I think I'll just keep my cheapo tool that came with the connector.
IIRC, this one came with the tool. It's the 4-pin connector for 2K4.2A6 V8 ignition coil.

Here's a complete set for $69.
