You should get that car into Parktown...
especially before you do any mods. Find out what's wrong and get it running correctly, before changing anything. Otherwise you won't know what is causing the problems you are having.

had a k&n, took it out went back to stock
did it twice
will see how it acts tonight, think i found the lean issue
i was checking the airfilter a week or so after i bought it and the hose heading out wasn't fully connected
