Default Disabling Parking Sensors

Hey D2 Owners,

Is there any way to permanently turn off the Parking Sensors in the front and rear bumpers? These things seem to be more of an annoyance than help.

Any input/advice would be appreciated.

Find the control module and unplug it. its behind the cd changer, you must remove the changer to get to it.

why don't you try to pull the fuse if you know which one it is?

I took care of the annoying parking sensors today. I checked the fuse option and unfortunately it seems the parking sensors are not the only thing connected to that fuse, so I had to unplug them from the control module in the trunk. While I was back there, I also cleaned out the rear driver's side sunroof drain.

Thanks Prospeeder and dreamhope on the sensor fix, and twentysevenlitres on the how-to for the sunroof drain.

Two jobs done at once, gotta love that!
