I was able to enter the code and finally make it stick but for some reason the code is not working for my car, no option in the mmi to enable.
I even reset the mmi but no change..

Oh I remember, you need to enable remote operation for windows first. Then you should see an option under car- central locking- long hold windows open

No I just wanted to demonstrate what happened when you let go of the button in mid-operation. Looks like you need to repeat the same process as in the beginning, i.e. press lock/unlock briefly then within 2 seconds press and hold until operation complete.

Finally I was able to code the car for the roof opening by remote.
Yes, you need first to code the windows opening via remote and then code the module 5.
