Default Trico blades

Yes - but I did have to grind down a bit of the plastic on the blade adapter t get it to click into the Audi metal arm. They have cleared the windshield well.

fyi From my original post the wipers/blades aren't the issue but about the inability of the defroster to keep the windshield clear of icing.

I wondered about this, but sometimes the windshield seems more "dry" and it's really just as if the wiper isn't even making ANY movement on the shield - no smearing or anything. In pure wet rainy conditions it is pretty good. Anything besides that - forget it.

Also for the defroster - you can't have defroster AND cabin heating? I've never heard of another car done that way . Just like the rear defroster, thought you just turn it on when needed...

In today's Audis, the automatic climate control will determine when to direct warm air to the defroster and other vents when in the "Auto" position. However, if you select "Defrost", all the air flow will be directed to the defroster vents. You can also override which of the three zone vents you wish by selecting the air flows manually with the climate control fan buttons. The rear defroster only turns on the heating wires in the rear window.
