Default Non-Nav display light color

I have a 2010 A5 Cabrio and my wife hates the red-on-black display. Is it possible to change it?

No. They did change the display for the 2013 models so only way is to trade for a new one.

I would guess anything is possible if you are prepared to spend gobs and gobs of money. It would require a complete overhaul of the MMI system components, wiring, coding, etc. though, not just the screen.
