I had their B8 S4 rear diffuser and it fit/looked great.

Thanks that's helpful. the second diffuser was OEM? Did you paint the chrome as well? I am getting the AWE exhaust with black tips, if you have some pictures please do share

Yep, just an OEM diffuser (I purchased it from OEMplus as well). No, I'm leaving the aluminum strip as-is to match the mirrors. The grille/diffuser/exhaust install is scheduled for 11/6, and I'll post up photos once they're on.

Sorry to unearth this thread, but I ordered the black optics grill and it arrived tonight. Noticed that the black surround, which is glossy, is made of plastic. I would have thought it would be a metallic material, as that is what I assume my stock grill comes with.

Any of you who ordered one of these notice the same?

Looking at my just now, and it's hard for me to tell what it is made from. It's a high gloss finish, but underneath that I have no idea. I wouldn't be shocked if it was plastic.
