... yet as far as I know Google maps is merely an overlay and the car still uses the basic installed maps for routing - that is, it does not dynamically update the routing maps. Points of interest however is a true Google search.

Couldn't help but jump in. I have a 2012 A5 with 3G and have found the same frustrating issues. Recently we were touring the Finger Lakes are in upper NY and the POI's could not find restaurants nearby, even Home Depot and Lowes were not listed. Contacted NAVTEQ and there only answer was Audi is responsible for the NAV system and they don't really deal with customers. I replied that as an industry leader it may be wise to "suggest" to their corporate customers that accurate updates might be appreciated by the customers. I am sure it went into the junk mail file. Discouraging when you buy a good product that is not properly maintained.

The ICC is not on 5.5.5. I ride it frequently and I'm always off nav.
