Last year he asked my how much I would take for it and I told him it wasn't for sale. This year when he asked (me knowing that I am still not going to sell it) I told him I'd take $18K for it as is with all the mods. He countered with $13K cash (actually a pretty good offer) If it wasn't for the fact that gas prices are so high I my have taken him up on his offer and turned around and bought a B6 or B7 S4. I also have a bunch of stuff around the house that I want to do before I upgrade cars. Right now my plan is to keep this A4 for another 4 years so maybe in 2012 he'll still want to buy it and give me above book value for it. =))))

i can't believe that you can buy a fine German automobile for like ours for 10-14k now. My car runs better than it did when I bought it for 20k 3 years ago. People buying a well cared for a4 from an enthusiast like us is getting an incredible deal.

Dealer was offering me $11k for mine with 93k miles on it. I thought it would have been much lower!

I was looking at '04 B6's like mine with slightly higher miles and they're about what I payed a year ago for my car
