Using Techron to repair fuel gauge / fuel sending units . . .
Known issue with fuel sending units causing fuel gauge to read erratically (often mis-diagnosed as a faulty guage cluster) can be repaired with a couple tanks of Techron. See link below from Chevron's site. More involved fix for faulty fuel guage/faulty fuel sending units is to clean them using RoberTT's fotki write-up (see post above).

http://www.chevron.com/products/prodserv/fuels/additives/concentrate_plus.shtml</a

defeating airbag light with aftermaket front seats
if you install aftermarket seats, you will need to use some resistors in order to get the airbag light to turn off. in particular:
1. a 4.7 ohm resistor is needed across the two populated pins of the airbag connector (purple + yellow) on both seats.
2. if you do not reuse the stock seatbelt buckles, a 400-500 ohm resistor is need across two of the pins on the red connector on both seats. (i cannot recall which pins, but if you examine the passenger-side's red connector, you will observe only two pins are populated; use the same two pins on the driver's side).
in all cases, 1/2 watt resistors will be fine.
note that if your airbag light is already on, you will need to clear the codes in order to get the airbag light to turn off.
