Sudden jerking after deceleration then pressing on throttle.
I have a 2002 a4 3.0 with the automatic/tip trinity transmission, around 65k miles. The problem occurs when I'm slowing to a stop, normally around 1k Rpms. The auto/tip will either jerk right before it downshifts; or let's say I'm coming to a red light that suddenly turns green, I'll let off the brake and press the throttle, occasionally it will hesitate and jerk into gear. When I bought the car 3 months ago I was experiencing this problem, so I changed the tranny fluid and filter, but still the problem persists. Help, anyone?

You don't know if it's not throwing Audi codes unless you have a VAGCOM. The generic readers only read a subset of the codes an Audi. It may be throwing a tranny code that doesn't trip the generic reader.

Yea I've been looking into getting one. Anything I can do outside of that?

not sure if the auto models do this but on manual the brake test circuit switch can cause similar problems. such as while sitting still and getting ready to move, the ecu will cut the throttle until you release the gas pedal. this occurs when the switch starts failing.
