2012 Q 5 Air Filter Change
Had vehicle in and they did all the AudiCare work needed. I ask about air filter they said at 55K.
I have 35K so I ask how much to do it now?
Was quoted it would be around $90.
Has anyone changed their own on their Q 5? 3.2 engine.
Looks like it should be easy to do but looking for advise here.

Buy the filter and replace it yourself

Didn't think it was that easy. AudiCare says it does not need to be changed till 55K. That is terrible, they flush the brake fluid at 35K but not an air filter change?
Then the say the spark plugs are OK till 55K on the 3.2 engine.
Funny, the AudiCare expires at 45K. Guess I will be doing that myself too.

I would recommend checking your air filter anytime you do service on your car. They are relatively cheap $20 (for MY13 2.0) right now on amazon. FRAM CA10522
I just did my 15k service on the entire 2013 2.0. My air filter was dirty enough to replace. For $20 and 10 minutes of work, the piece-of-mind is worth it.
FYI: I needed to purchase a Torx screwdriver/socket set for Oil change and accessing the air filter.
