A curious question about rear differential

A curious question about rear differential
I have a 99 Audi A4 Quattro 1.8T, automatic.
As far as I know there is a Torsen diffrential in the middle, and regular differentials in the rear and front. So the other day I lifted a rear wheel, transmission in P, and tried to rotate the wheel. It does rotate, while the other three wheels stay stationary! Isn't that wield? Since I thought the central diffrential would make that it's not possible while only one wheel is rotating.
I lifted one front wheel, and it's not possible to rotate only that wheel. So that makes me more curious. Any body can teach me what's going on?
Also a little question: when I lift the rear wheel and rotate it, I feel something is dragging it. Although it's not a big drag force, I can still feel some rubbing sound from the brake I guess. Is it a problem?

Similar car only mine is manual. The rear wheels do not rotate independently for me. I need both wheels off the ground to rotate one. I always thought this had to do with the limited slip diff. Putting the transmission in gear only seems to affect the front wheels, the rears rotate freely unless the parking brake is on.
