anyone tried their ipod?
how easy is the interface to use? i have an alpine wva-200 right now and love how well it works with my ipod - am i going to be disappointed?

I have an issue with AMI where it takes forever to browse through artists if there's a ton of them
It won't change to selecting the starting letter if you spin quickly enough like on an iPod. This is on my old man's 07 S8, which has not had its MMI updated. Has this been addressed in the newer versions?

Yes - it has been fixed. If you spin through quickly, it backs out of the artist list and gives you
... a progress bar. It tells you (artist number) "450 of 700," for example. Then, you hit the MMI **** and it'll go to that artist.
