Never mind the Merc owners, what do they know about cars anyway, but I bet yeah the M3 people are...
Going to take a serious look at it.
If Audi is serious this time and the rumours are true about the new weight distribution and handling characteristics, well this might be the car that finally puts it over for Audi.

That does look pretty nice. Does it look longer than the B6/B7 to you guys?
Looks like it's been lengthened a little bit, but that may just be the more squat, aggressive look of it vs. the more rounded look of the B6/B7. Dunno.

If that is an official picture, I might like it better than the C6 A6/S6/RS 6 and D3 A8/A8L/S8
I believe that the B8 S4 and S5 will have a 4.2L FSI V8 producing 370 or 380 hp and 310, 317 or 325 lbs/ft of torque. I also believe that the B8 RS 4 and RS 5 will have a 4.5L FSI V8 producing 450 hp and 354 lbs/ft of torque. The B8 RS 4 and RS 5 could even have hybrid technology like the Q7 eventually will have with the electric motor producing 50 hp and 140 lbs/ft of torque for a total of 500 hp and 494 lbs/ft of torque.
