Default Can you guys recommend a brake pad with a lot of "bite"..Now that the mushy brake pedal

issue has been resolved, the lack of bite on my Posiquite brake pads is getting on my nerves.
I have new Stopteck slotted roters with new Posiquiet pads but the pads just dont have the initial bite you need for daily driving.
The braking is great when I really get on them but for normal pedal pressure the brakes just dont have the initial Grab.
I drive 30 miles a day so pads dust isnt a big issue.
So what do you guys recommend?

Default This is why I returned the Posi quiet pads and the entire kit...

they were slipped in by another shop in a Stoptech brake kit. the feedback on them is:

They don't make noise
The don't make dust,
they don't wear out.
they also don't stop.

I'm having PBR Semi Metalic street pads put in this weekend with my ECS brake kit.

Default When I bought my drilled front rotors, they were offered with one of two pad brands.

Posi-Quiet or Metal Master (I chose the latter.) I like 'em...dust isn't too bad, and they bite quite nicely. I do eventually want to get pads that are a little more performance-oriented though.

I'm loving the Hawk HPS, they have great feel and virtually no dust compared to stock.

Default AKA Porterfield R-4S

Note there's several "R-4" compounds and all the others are track compounds that'll squeal like hell and eat rotors if used at street temperatures.

Porterfield themselves are usually pretty good about asking what you'll be using them for.
