those rails cost about $450 each. Very...very expensive. The whole headliner doesn't need to be removed to replaced...witness...by the fact that I didn't need to. That last piece isn't separate...it is all one piece.

Cheap solution:
- pay a body shop to polish rail to blend in the scratch.

More expensive solution:
- Buy a new rail via shokan.com. Call their 1800# and ask for Jon. Give him the part#'s etc. FYI - they may charge you $200+ for one rail. Have dealer install for you.

I'll email you another cheaper source.

Or remove both rails, remove finish, and have then black anodized.

Default Or remove both, patch and paint holes, for a lower, sleeker look...

I could even "shave" off the door handles like the rice rodsters do! ;-)

Default Putting bolts back in at c pillar with those hoses in the way was the biggest pain for me. I keep

starting to crossthread the bolts, and the fact that you needed to use a 1/4 drive socket to fit through hole at front to unbolt/tighten rail.
