Was at Brink today for a CEL and some maintenance
Well I've tried to search this topic, but no one seems to answer when this question is asked: Is there somewhere else a person can go for a dependable mechanic that is cheaper than the one dealer we have in Austin. Roger Beasley does its best (like most dealerships) to rape the consumer on labor and marked up parts costs. Guess the good news is they'll wash my car after bending me over!
Anyway, I am looking for a shop that can do it all: exhaust, engine, suspension, electrical, etc...
I realize this is posted to two different threads, but the moment there is some info I will be linking the my threads, or deleting them entirely. Thank you

I took my 2000 A6 2.7t in to Brink today for the first time and had a very good experience. Mike seems like a good guy and knows his way around Audis/VWs. Needed a CEL investigated and also some normal maintenance done and he did it quickly and the car is running well. I used to go to Soulspeed before Colin closed or moved down to Harris Hill and had been worrying about finding a good shop up north - I'm not worried anymore.

Definitely Brink Motorsports!! I've been taking my B6 S4 to him for a while now. Super affordable and quality work. As if you were going to the dealership, only two differences.
The waiting room doesn't have a home theater with plush leather chairs in it, and the prices are waaay cheaper!
Btw, I'll be stopping by soon Mike to get my oil done.
