Thanks
I have a 2013 with Innovation which includes lane assist (you can enable via VAG-COM on 2012 but you need a new directional stalk which has a push button to enable/disable it). It only works above 40 mph. The Start/Stop works seamlessly once you get use to it, it only enable when you press the brake all the way, so you have lots of control with it, and it is smart enough to turn itself off if you are draining the battery.

I think the 2012 may have a CD changer vs. the 2013 has SD slots only.

I have the Innovation package with ACC. My car will come to a complete stop, and does not automatically accelerate after the stop.

My 2012 doesn't have a rear or side blinds. I don't think that they were available in 2012, at least not early in the model year.

I like the blind spot warning system, HUD, and the cruise control system.

Thanks everyone for your inputs. Scottphillip so if the car is completely stopped. What would you need to do to get the vehicle back into cruise control again? The video that in2dwww posted seem to indicate that after 3 seconds the vehicle will shut turn off the cruise control. Is there a setting that you can adjust to 15 seconds? as suggested by the video. So that it wont turn off the adaptive cruise control. Would it be any different for the 2013?

I might consider adding the lane assist if it's possible for the 2012. It seems like a good option to have when there is not traffic.

ACC is still on after a full stop, with the brakes engaged so even the Tiptronic will not roll forward. You touch the gas or pull the ACC stalk to resume and the car will accelerate to the set speed as traffic allows. Nobody has posted the coding to change the standby timeout, at not least that I know of.

Ditto, my 14 A6 slow to a crawl and once it stops you must push gas or pull cruise stalk, but it does crawl a bit so if the car in front of you starts moving you will gain speed again.
