can you use a 3b from an auto 200 in a coupe?

Sure did. I have almost been fooled twice now.
Especially with people who dont know about their cars and when asked they reply "my mechanic says this car is the 20 Valve Turbo" Oh well.

by definition , 1991 200 quattro 5speed has the 3b
There was no automatic for quattro prior to 1995 or so in the US....
1991 200 autos are FWD and come with the 10v MC2
1989 and 1990 200 Quattros have 5 speeds and the 10v MC2 engine too
