I would imagine if your car is only going in for this recall, you should have it back same day. Mine took overnight because they had to do all of the other updates and 5K service.

Default NHSTA e-mail

Just recv'd an e-mail from NHSTA re: fuel line problem. Interestingly they also included a recall on A8/S8 titled "sunroof may shatter". You can check out Safercar.gov and sign up for the governments knowledge of any recalls, TSB's, investigations, etc.

I just received mine today. I have to schedule the 5k service anyway so I will do it at the same time, even though I am only at 4k

Default Audi Molotov cocktail

Yup, I also received the recall letter. It suggests that the leak occurs with use over time. Have any leaks occurred as early as 3K miles? Any fires? Just curious if I can't get it in the shop immediately.
