Default Please Help. My headlights on my 2010 do not swivel

Our recently purchased 2010 TDI Prestige headlights don't swivel. Through my research, if you have the Prestige package. The headlights should be adaptive. I have no dashboard lights telling mr they are not working either. Anyone have any ideas?

I looked through the manual and MMI hoping to find the answer as well.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks

Is your headlight switch in "Auto"? I believe it's necessary for adaptive headlights to work.

I have a '10 Prestige TDI and my headlights are not adoptive.

They auto-level, that's it.

I don't think you get adoptive here in the states for that year (rest of world only I think).

You're talking about adoptive headlights that turn with the steering wheel to illuminate corners or bends while driving, right? I remember reading about them on 2010 and had the same thought when I first got them, but eventually just forgotten or follow up on them. Pretty sure we don't get it.

I did not have adaptive headlights on the 2010 Prestige. Only self-leveling. My 2013 does have them.

If this is the case...that sucks! Our 2007 had them and looks like every year does as we'll except 2010...this seems really bizarre Audi would delete an option that has been on the Q7 since day one. I will do dome more research and see what I can come up with.

Do you think this is something that can be turned on with a Vag-Com? The owners manual says to drive in the Auto Headlight mode for them to work bit even in Auto mode they don't work.

I plan on calling Audi tomorrow and will post up what they tell me

I believe it was simply an option - there are as far as I am aware, three possible setups - standard halogen, Xenon and Xenon Plus.

Post a photo of your options from the sticker in the front of the service book - even if it part of a package, it should still show the options installed.

I checked on mine tonight, they track with the steering whether in auto or manually switched on - so unless later cars changed, it should work all the time the lights are on.

My 2011 and 2014 Q7 both give an "Adaptive Lights Off" message whenever I switch out of Auto mode.

Maybe it is either US cars or later models have a revised switch to allow adaptive to be disabled - mine is a later 2008.
