New windshield question, plus more...
...info on insurance. My particular insurance has a straight deductible, with no glass rider. So, even if the insurance pays some, I'm on the hook for most of the cost.
For those who know how insurance companies work, it's best NOT to make a claim unless there's a really big financial incentive to do so, or if someone else is truly at-fault. So, no claim will be made.
In the lower left corner of the windshield, at least on my current Sigla piece, there is a number. Is this a part number? And if so, could someone be so kind as to list their number here, so I can verify mine? We're talking 1995 S6 here.
