s6 plus rear lights group buy people, how did you mount your us license plate?
So I just got my center section rear S6 plus lights, and now I am trying to figure out the best way to mount my US plate. It looks like the plate needs to be trimmed about 1/2. Anyone have any pictures of the mounting process?

On mine,...
I notched the plate to fit round the two clear plastic bits at the top of the light. Others have notched the plastic to fit the plate.
I drilled a hole at each end of the plate the use the holes in the light assembly to mount the plate. I pealed the two sided tape off and tossed it.

Still mucking with it, but I used a Euro plate frame & cut a blank Euro plate to fill the frame

A Maryland license plate has a similar white background to the German plate blank, so it blends in pretty well- it would work better if the plate I started from wasn't pretty beat up to begin with.
I also modified the Euro frame to hold some standard license plate fasteners (inserted backwards) so I could use the standard US plate mounting holes. The basic concept works, but it needs more work- it's a bit rough. It's getting dark and raining, so the picture isn't great, but it should give you an idea.
My biggest concern at this point is how the local police folk are going to react to a very Euro-looking plate- should be interesting, but I went to considerable pains to keep the plate as unmolested as possible, which should help. Then again, maybe not.

You were sleeping again. You had to contact Alex directly at europrice NOT just post to ...
the forum. We had about five or six orders just from our Vancouver club alone.
You could try contacting Alex at Statis now to see if there were any left overs.
