Default intake flap motor V157 malfunction??

has anyone else had this P0642 code come up when the mil light comes on? i had to take mine in, audi "reset" the ecm and the light came right back on. im seeing a lot of information about this on not only the A4 but other models by vw/audi with the 2.0T engine. some information notes this as an O3 or Q3 recall, but the dealership is telling me its something i have to pay for. help!
