Alaskans/ Washingtonioans? Ferry to Alaska?
I need help.
Looks like I am working in/near homer alaska this summer.
And I am trying to figure out weather a ferry to Alaska is a good idea or not.
so far the drive to portland (to drop off my roomate) is 2,400 mi and the drive to homer 2,800.
Thats one heck of a drive for me and my aging car.
Other Questions. Montana speed limits?
Just curious

Ferry runs out of
Bellingham ... it is far cheaper to passenger up on the ferry but if you buy a cabin rather than camp on deck, the price goes up.
Either way you'll be going thru B'ham so give a shout and I'll buy you a cup of coffee ... (and kick yer *** for past and future transgressions )

http://www.akferry.com/</a

If someone gave me one, I'd happily drive it, but no way I'm spending MY hard earned money to buy 1!
