I'm guessing this mat just recently became available because when I picked up my car in Aug., I was supposed to get one of these as part of the deal; however at that time my SA told me that Audi had switched to a much cheaper foam mat (part # 4G5061160) vs the nice rubberized one I'd had in my C6, and he didn't think I'd be happy with the foam one. Anyway, glad to see the new "all-weather" mat is now available...will have to contact my dealer to pick mine up. I was very happy with the one I had in my C6.
The mat ending in 180 has the lip of 1.97 inches all the way around the perimeter and is made of the heavy duty rubberized plastic material not the foam of the one ending in 160. Both are good products but if you are looking for something comparable to the Weathertech then its 4G5-061-180.

I have purchased WeatherTech products for each of my past four new cars. At present, I have transferred the set from my 2013 A6 to my 2014 A6.

They fit perfectly in all cabin floor and cargo areas of my Audi, look good and offer excellent protection.

The cost:

Shipping Method: Ground

Part # Item Color Price Qty Total
#44374-1-2 FloorLiner™ DigitalFit®

1st & 2nd Row

Audi 2013 A6/S6
Black $159.90 1 $159.90
#40546 Cargo Liner for Cars, SUV's and Minivans

Audi 2013 A6/S6

Vehicle Options:
Bodystyle: Sedan
Black $119.95 1 $119.95

Order Total
Subtotal $279.85
Shipping $18.00
Total $297.85

I think that the cost for these mats is well worth it.

Thanks for breaking it down for us. I'm not sure if I am reading it correctly, did you order all three (first row, second row and cargo area)? If so then that is a really good deal. Weathertech is definitely a big competitor for us, it's healthy and mutually beneficial for all parties involved to have this type of competition, Audi and Weathertech have to keep providing a high quality product at an affordable price to keep up with each other and the consumer wins because they have 2 top quality choices at great prices to choose from. Bring it on Weathertech !!

just received the weathertech cargo liner,

anyone can share photos how to do the cargo net hook cut out? Do I cut the entire 4 pieces out or just 4 rectangular holes?

or just cut 4 slits like this?

I don't have a net on mine, but I imagine you don't want to cut out too much or too low. The idea behind weather tech is that it holds dirt and water and garbage. If you cut too much or too low, you no longer allow the mat to retain water, it will leak out the hole or slit. I was confused about the net holders. However I never need the net, I use the grocery hooks or anything that is easily moved and I also have a Griots Garage trunk organizer.

From looking at your photo I see your problem, if you completely cut out the rectangular section the hook fits through you end up with a definite leaking point. The slit you cut looks as if it does the job well but it doesn't look as professional as you may want, it should keep most liquids from leaking through though. I will look at a few of our clients cars and see what they have done in this situation and report back.

Because of the lip that comes with the Weathertech mats, they are far superior to Audi's OEM winter mats.

Do you have the front Weathertech mats? And does the driver's side mat extend up under the pedals. The Audi winter mat stops at the flat part of the floor so shoe drips fall on the carpet.

They do extend up under the pedals and also up the left foot rest. Much better than OEM. With the OEM the water off of my shoes would accumulate under the mats and soak the carpet.
