VAD welcomes in the 2009 calendar year with a special announcement: <B>VAD has successfully completed initial testing of its VAD Mobile Wireless OBD-II adapter with selected Windows Mobile 6® Smartphones!</B>

This means VAD Mobile Wireless, is now compatible with both Palm OS® or Windows Mobile® devices; giving you powerful high level diagnostic functionality with the portability and convenience of a PDA or Smartphone, running on either operating system.

VAD Mobile Wireless, when paired with the Windows Mobile® software, provides unmatched range and navigation speed, in comparison to other diagnostic tools. No longer restricted by cable length, VAD provides its users with the flexibility required to perform tasks while connected in, around or even underneath a vehicle with ease. Road testing has never been so simple, and your Smartphone can be dash or window mounted to make diagnostic monitoring safer that ever before. VAD also performs diagnostic functions at a faster rate than its predecessors, due to its expedient boot up time and impressive data logging rates.

The updated diagnostics software features an easy-to-use user interface, up-to-date fault code information, and a pre-scanned vehicle data base, which even includes the latest 2009 VW and Audi models. With VAD "quick scroll", it is easier than ever to navigate while logging multiple measuring blocks, and more detailed parameters for each measuring block are always being added.

VAD Mobile Wireless has been thoroughly tested on the Windows Mobile 6® operating system. It will function admirably with Smartphones and other handheld devices, equipped with Bluetooth® wireless technology, running WM6 software or any of its updated versions. If you have a Windows Mobile device running alternate versions, such as WM5 or Windows CE, feel free to contact VAD directly for options on using your device. On going testing is being conducted on these devices and compatibility lists will be published as soon as they are available.

VAD Mobile is <I>not currently compatible</I> with Symbian OS®, (prominent on Nokia® and Sony Ericsson® products), Blackberry® devices, or I-Phones.
