Default rule 1 of the track...

"any car on a race track is subject to total destruction at any time"

Just something to remember out there...weird and unfortunate stuff happens ALL THE TIME at the track...keep it in mind and weigh the risks against that reality.

That looked like a chain of mistakes all the way back to whoever set up the event.

Default I was there, but didn't see it, I was in the paddock packing up. >>

I've done events with them for 10 years now, and many years ago, it was almost like a free for all. They were very relaxed with instructors, and in recent years, it's gotten much better.

I was very suprised at WHERE they staged the cars, there was no retaining wall, no armco, nothing, and some spectators were very close to the track with not protection either.
Not like them really, they've gotten their act together compared to the old days.

I couldn't believe the carnage, the G35 driver was very lucky to not be in the car when it was T-boned.

Default that was ugly

I been to that track twice with EMRA and it seems to be pretty good. In fact, I've spun out and gone off the track once. Pretty nasty as a car could have easily hit me.
How on earth did that Evo turn a 90 degree so quickly. That seems to be a knee jerk reaction. Very unfortunate for the NSX and G35 owners.

The video you posted is in every car forum out there...it's impacted many people, and me.

Default here are some more reports

I've sent this to Mike C., Steve E. and Dan J. for the area chatpers. He's not welcome at ACNA-NJ Chapter driving events and it's up to those chapters to make their own decisions.

https://forums.audiworld.com/s4b6/msgs/349935.phtml</a

Default Thanks. Yeah, Mike is well aware (I told him yesterday) and he emailed Steve about it.

Hopefully this idiot is as good as blacklisted from (at least) ACNA events.

Default works for me. Are you and R. going to be up at WG II?

Looks like I'll be going with a few friends.
