Can the clock auto-adjust based on time zone?
Although I can set the clock in my dad's 2014 A8L to get the time from GPS, I don't see any way to have it grab the time zone as well-- I have to set that manually.
Am I missing something obvious? My 2006 Acura RL would do this; it seems odd that the A8 wouldn't.

Nothing obvious in the manual, but also don't remember having to set my TZ initially.
Perhaps my dealer set it and I never noticed since I rarely cross zones.

I could be off base here, but I think your TZ/geographical points are set in the rear view mirror setup. At any rate, the clock does self adjust.

Magnetic declination would need to be adjusted if the car is from another region.
Excellent point.
For DST mine does, but I haven't crossed a TZ yet.
Does yours adjust across zones ?

I haven't crossed TZs either; just that the car's clock does auto re-set for changes to/from DST. And yeah, that's what I meant: "magnetic declination." Just couldn't spit it out ;/)
